I think there if there is one job that is recession proof, it is a truck driver. I work in the freight industry - and somebody always needs to truck something somewhere. You can't always fly it, but you can always truck it! They have one of those truck driving schools right in Tampa, and I guess how much you make depends on the company you work for, or if you are an owner - operator doing the long haul. Let me tell you, I work with truck drivers all day, I do noowant to be one.
