Update

See what great love the Father has lavished on us, that we should be called children of God! And that is what we are! The reason the world does not know us is that it did not know him. Dear friends, now we are children of God, and what we will be has not yet been made known. But we know that when Christ appears, [a] we shall be like him, for we shall see him as he is. All who have this hope in him purify themselves, just as he is pure. 1 John 1-3
This was the text for the message yesterday at church, and I found it fitting considering what my family has been going through lately. Pastor Greg spoke of "belonging" to Jesus, and as children of God, he wants us all to "belong" to him, and follow him. If I lean on Him my faith will get us through this battle.

My Mom is doing well, she has healed from the attempted whipple surgery and removal of her gall bladder , her staples have been removed and been released by the surgeon to drive after only 2 weeks post surgery! She feels good, and is in no pain ...this is all good news! This week there is a consult with the radiation doctor, and then she makes her decision on how she wants to fight this disease. We are pretty sure she is going to opt to fight with the chemo/radiation. So, we pray for her strength to do so.
