Back in the day, I drove a 1972 Dodge Coronet, and it was equipped with one of those radar detectors that you suction cupped to the windsheild. I have no idea why, they were pretty useless and only beeped when you passed a grocery store! That car could move, but the detector did not keep me from getting tickets!
